ESA Envisat Eyes Iceland’s Eyjafjallajoekull Volcano

The European Space Agency (ESA) released today a series of images taken by its Envisat satellite of Iceland’s Eyjafjallajoekull volcano. The good news is that in the “latest Envisat image acquired today at 13:36 CEST, even less ash is visible” than ever before, since the eruption. Learn more about how Envisat is being used to monitor the ash cloud of Iceland’s Eyjafjallajoekull volcano online now here.
